Maria Ruggiero Powell, Founder and President

 

Holding both a BA in Human Services and an MA in Adult Education, Maria's professional life has focused on helping others cope in difficult times. This, and her years of estate sales experience, set the tone for the level of care provided to ReclaimingMia's clients.

Greg Powell, Legal Advisor to ReclaimingMia

A graduate of Duke Law School, Greg was admitted to practice law in both DC and Maryland. Greg practiced estate planning, probate, and trust law for 16 years. As President of Chesapeake Trust Company, he oversaw administration of wills, trusts and probate clients. Now retired, and a resident of the Greater Capital Region, Greg's expertise informs the level of care and service ReclaimingMia's clients can expect.

Erin Ruggiero, Client Relations Manager and Assistant to the President. 

Erin holds a BA in Psychology and is working towards her MS in Clinical Psychology with a focus on Adolescent Mental Health. Erin brings her commitment to the well-being of families to every consultation she attends. 

Zack Ruggiero, Sales and Cleanout Manager

Since his return from service in the US Army National Guard, Zack has taken an integral role in the growth of his family's business. Providing insight on merchandising, marketing and client care, Zack's initiatives have increased the appeal of ReclaimingMia's sales to the next generation of estate sale shoppers.

Pat Ruggiero, Set-Up and Cleanout Specialist

A dynamic and experienced team member, Pat is an expert in sales set-up, clean-out management and scheduling. Her years of experience in the estate sales and cleanouts create a pleasant shopping environment and leave every home in pristine condition.

Andrew Murphy, Assistant Team Manager

With over 20 years of experience in estate sales and cleanouts, Andy has developed relationships with buyers and sellers throughout the Capital Region. An avid collector in several fields, his expert ability to research and accurately value items is an asset to the team and provides an invaluable service to our clients and shoppers. 

Alberta and Dick Staats, Estate Sales Team

Dick Staats has over 30 years of experience dealing in antiques of multiple eras. He brings to the team his varied expertise, but he is most knowledgeable in the fields of early toys, primitives, and rugs.

Alberta Staats has been an antiques dealer for 30 years. In addition to her knowledge of early furniture, she contributes her expertise in jewelry, especially Art Deco, Victorian, and Vintage.
